CardTags is a mobile application for scanning and managing business cards. Your privacy is fundamental to how we design and operate the app. This policy explains what data CardTags handles, how it is stored, and your rights under applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Overview

CardTags is designed with a privacy-first, offline-first approach. Most data is stored locally on your device. CardTags does not use advertising, analytics tracking, or behavioral profiling.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Business card data, contact information, tags, and app settings are stored on your device and never sent to our servers during normal use.

3. Server-Side Processing

Limited server processing is used only for OCR scanning, email sharing features, and contact update notifications. No personal data is retained on our servers after processing.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)
